Application of silk screen technology

Silk screen printing, or as it is also called screen printing, or silk screen printing is a method of applying images by passing, or rather forcing paint through a stencil created from a special material with small cells. The print is created by forcing ink through a mold onto clothing or fabric as the squeegee moves across the mold. Allows you to repeat pantone colors. It is possible to print from 30 prints of one layout in one size.

Stages:

  • creating a mold (stencil)
  • filling the mold with paint
  • image extraction
  • fixing the image until completely dry

How much does it cost?

The cost of applying prints in Single Print depends on several factors. Including:

  • The number of things you want to print, the more the cheaper;
  • The number of colors in the layout, the fewer colors, the cheaper (if you need the “gradient” effect, we recommend direct digital printing);
  • The type of tissue is generally not affected in this technology;
  • Print size, A6 (10x15cm) will be cheaper than for example A3 (30x42cm);
  • The location is standard or complex;
  • Urgency: depends on the workload of production;
  • The need to develop a layout.

If you plan to order a batch for printing, please send the layout to one of our managers and specialists will calculate the cost individually. We also provide the discount to those customer who order in-bulk.
